NIST seeks comments on use of cybersecurity framework

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking comments on its cybersecurity framework, according to a post at the Federal Register.

The framework was released in February 2014, and NIST is now looking for information on how it is being implemented. Comments are due by Feb. 9, 2016.

"The process to develop the Framework brought together both private and public sector organizations and resulted in a document that is being used by a wide variety of organizations," Adam Sedgewick, NIST senior information technology policy advisor, said in an announcement. "We're looking forward to receiving feedback on specific questions about its use and how it might be improved." Post
