Saint Barnabas Health Care System aims to enhance productivity with help from McKesson technology
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Saint Barnabas Health Care System (SBHCS), New Jersey’s largest healthcare delivery system, has selected McKesson to replace its multiple legacy medical imaging solutions. SBHCS plans to implement Horizon Medical Imaging™, McKesson’s industry-leading picture archiving communications system (PACS), to integrate patient data and images from multiple modalities across its complex, multi-facility health system. That integration is expected to help streamline clinical workflow, increase collaboration and enhance productivity for providers, who treat more than two million patients annually.

The PACS creates an integrated environment designed to streamline workflow between departments, help improve clinical decision making and enhance efficiencies for the radiologist. Physicians can access tools and information using a single platform for accelerated clinical diagnoses in caring for their patients.
