Network Health Selects MedVentive as Technology Partner

New technology supports health plan’s efforts to improve health care quality and reduce medical expenses

MEDFORD, Mass. and WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Network Health, a Massachusetts health plan that provides high-quality health care coverage to more than 170,000 Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes, announced today that it has selected MedVentive, a leader in health care performance management solutions, as a technology partner. MedVentive and Network Health will collaborate on the deployment of a secure, Web-based performance analytics tool that supports the health plan and its provider network’s shared values and goals.

Network Health’s performance analytics tool will allow the health plan to offer providers a real-time data-sharing platform to identify key opportunities for enhanced care management, better health outcomes, and improved finances.

Network Health’s performance analytics tool includes advanced reporting functions; uses evidence-based algorithms to deliver concrete, patient-specific recommendations; examines and identifies opportunities to deliver cost-effective medicines and optimal dosages; shows variations in efficiency of care our members receive; and alerts providers about a gap in a patient’s care.
