MED3OOO CEO Speaks on Healthcare IT Outlook, Partnerships, and How to Succeed

HISTalk Interview Highlights Cost and Quality Improvements from the Clinical Side

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MED3OOO, a national leader in healthcare management and technology products and services, was featured in a recent interview with its Chairman and CEO, Patrick Hampson, on the HIStalk healthcare information and technology blog.

Mr. Hampson described MED3OOO’s breadth of experience, which includes physician practice management, revenue cycle management, care management, and third party administrative services, as well as technology and informatics solutions. MED3OOO offers its InteGreat suite of proprietary technology services, but Mr. Hampson described the company as being “system agnostic,” meaning that it is able to support many of the systems already deployed by physician practices and affiliated hospitals. MED3OOO’s data warehousing, reporting, and decision support technology, which currently includes information on over 2% of the U.S. population, facilitates this strategy by integrating information from multiple platforms.

Mr. Hampson stressed that MED3OOO provides all of these services with the ultimate goal of helping physicians improve clinical outcomes and manage health care costs as the industry adopts the principles of accountable care. He stated that MED3OOO seeks to be “more than just a vendor,” partnering with physicians to help them manage the health of the populations they serve. With MED3OOO’s experience, size, scope, and turnkey solutions, Mr. Hampson said “we’re pretty much a ‘plug-and-play’ for folks that want to go to the next step and partner with someone to become an ACO” or who simply want to thrive as a healthcare practice.
