iMDsoft and Medworxx Sign Reciprocal Distribution Agreement

Medworxx to provide MetaVision clinical information systems in Canada; iMDsoft to provide sales support for Medworxx internationally

NEEDHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- iMDsoft, a leader in clinical information systems, and Medworxx, a leading provider of software for patient flow, compliance, and education, have today announced a broad sales and marketing partnership. Under the agreement, Medworxx will offer iMDsoft’s MetaVision® suite of clinical information systems for the perioperative and critical care environments in Canada. Further, iMDsoft will introduce Medworxx’ offerings to its customers and distributors worldwide.

MetaVision captures, displays, analyzes, reports, and stores the vast amount of patient-related data generated in hospitals’ perioperative and critical care environments. Hospitals worldwide - including 4 of the top 10 US hospitals and 13 of the top 50 European hospitals - use MetaVision to improve care quality, enhance financial results, support research, and promote compliance with government, payor, and hospital protocols.

Medworxx has extensive experience in the Canadian healthcare market. Through innovation and close working relationships with their customers, Medworxx plays an increasingly strategic role in the hospital environment. Medworxx combines software with clinical and consulting best practices to effectively serve the hospital marketplace.

Medworxx places great emphasis on optimizing hospital performance and improving the level of hospital care and safety. MetaVision has a proven track record of producing clinical, financial, and operational benefits, including significantly reduced patient mortality rates, fewer medical errors, and less time spent on documentation. Together, the companies offer a robust administrative and clinical solution.

“Canada has been a fantastic market for iMDsoft over the past several years. Our products offer Canadian health networks the flexibility of a custom look and feel for individual hospitals and units, while maintaining centralized clinical regulations and workflow," said Phyllis Gotlib, CEO, iMDsoft. "Now, with Medworxx as our local partner, we look forward to reaching more health networks and hospitals with our solution."

“iMDsoft has a great start in the Canadian marketplace.
