Former Maryland Chief Innovation Officer Bryan Sivak will replace Todd Park as the new Chief Technology Officer for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, HHS announced yesterday, according to FedScoop. Sivak also previously served as CTO for the District of Columbia, and co-founded knowledge management software company InQuira, which was acquired by Oracle last July.
"[Sivak] has distinguished himself … as someone who can work creatively across a large government organization to identify and implement the best opportunities for improving the way the government works," HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said, according to FedScoop. Article
