Geisinger Health System's new Precision Health Center in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania, is open for business as of Monday.
The center spans 14,000 square feet and will house teams from Geisinger's Clinical Genomics and Autism and Developmental Medicine Institute, according to an article in the Citizen's Voice.
It will also feature a genomics program that will allow patietns to have their genome sequenced and applied to their care, according to the article. The center will also hold technologies that will allow geneticists can share their expertise through video-conferencing with patients and providers all over the world.
