BOSTON & DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., & ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- DuPage Medical Group (DMG), the largest independent multi-specialty physician group in the western suburbs of Chicago, has selected Humedica MinedShare® as its clinical intelligence solution and has joined the American Medical Group Association’s Anceta collaborative.

Care providers at DMG utilize evidence-based guidelines embedded in the EHR to improve the health of patients struggling with leading health concerns, such as diabetes, asthma, heart and lung diseases. By providing patients with after visit summaries, education materials, and electronic access to their health information, DMG is also engaging patients in their own health care.
Humedica integrates data from DMG’s Epic EHR along with clinical, financial and operational data to generate a complete view of an organization’s patient population. Within Humedica MinedShare, an organization can access advanced analytics to define appropriate patient cohorts, treatment pathways, and outcomes. Ultimately this will support DMG measuring the impact of their evidence-based improvement initiatives and determine how to best allocate resources for optimal care.
