Dell cloud technology to streamline efforts to combat children's cancer

Dell and the National Cancer Institute are teaming up to enhance personalized treatments for children with cancer through cloud-based efforts, according to an iHealthBeat report. The partnership, announced late last week, initially will target neuroblastoma, and Dell's cloud-computing technology will enable the Neuroblastoma and Medulloblastoma Translational Research Consortium, the Van Andel Research Institute and the Translational Genomics Research Institute to share data much more quickly and efficiently. According to iHealthBeat, doctors will be able to create a real-time data repository focused on pediatric cancer research. Article
