Colorado Springs Health Partners, PC (CSHP), the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty practice in Colorado has chosen Humedica’s MinedShare as its clinical intelligence platform and the American Medical Group Association’s (AMGA) Anceta learning collaborative to support its value-based care initiatives.

CSHP is involved in several community health care coordination efforts which will be measurably enhanced by the clinically based data and outcomes metrics delivered through Humedica MinedShare. These efforts include:

Dennis Schneider, MD, CSHP Chief Medical Officer explains, “For the most part, insurance claims data has driven the process in the health care system. Humedica will allow us to analyze our clinical practices and patient outcomes from data generated by the providers seeing our patients every day. The Anceta learning collaborative gives us the ability to work with colleagues and share best practices. It is another, tangible way for us to ensure we are coordinating care and providing higher quality care at less cost – this is the value in the health care equation.”

Rick Dean, Humedica’s Vice President of Provider Solutions added, “Colorado Springs Health Partners has a long history of innovation in providing care for their patients. They continue to lead by recognizing the value of complete clinical data—both the longitudinal view of patient care and the accompanying analytics that allow for informed decision making.”

“With their strong focus on turning insights from the data into improvements that make a difference for patients and lower the overall cost of care, we’re very pleased to welcome CSHP to the collaborative,” said John Cuddeback, MD, PhD, Anceta’s Chief Medical Informatics Officer. ”We’re seeing evidence of improvement in the data, and this only intensifies the energy of the interaction among AMGA members in the collaborative.”
