MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cognosante, a leading provider of IT services to healthcare organizations, has added Davis Foster as chief business development officer and senior vice president. In this role, Ms. Foster oversees the direction of the company’s business development, marketing, capture and strategic pursuits.

She also held the position of vice president at Vangent, overseeing their Department of Health and Human Services line of business. In both roles, Ms. Foster created and executed strategic plans that resulted in corporate growth within the healthcare market. Ms. Foster holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.
