Clerity Healthcare Expert Speaks to CHUG Conference on GE Centricity

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Clerity Healthcare, a leading provider of end-to-end IT solutions, today announced that Mike Dent, senior engineer at the company, will speak at the Centricity* Healthcare User Group (CHUG), October 21-22 in Austin.

Dent will discuss Remote Access to Centricity: Utilizing Citrix Access Gateway and Secure Gateway. This topic is very important to physician practices and healthcare clinics with remote locations that must protect patient privacy and provide secure connectivity, while meeting HIPAA regulations. The Citrix offerings enable secure, remote access using devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones to meet these needs without requiring excessive bandwidth or IT resources.

Dent works with Clerity Healthcare customers who use GE Healthcare’s Centricity Practice Solution and Centricity Electronic Medical Records (EMR). As an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Medical Systems Integrator, Clerity delivers fully integrated server solutions with all software preinstalled and ready for database upgrade, Meaningful Use (MU), and High Availability (HA) implementations. Centricity Practice Solution and Centricity EMR customers can order fully configured and tested systems directly from Clerity.

Certified, pre-tested healthcare IT systems, such as those for e-medical records, are of growing importance as hospitals and physician offices implement modernized IT-based tools that cut costs and show "meaningful use" to qualify for financial incentives under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Clerity Healthcare will also be an exhibitor at the CHUG event in Austin. Experts will be on hand for technical product demonstrations and discussions.
