announced today that it will unveil the second generation of its powerful RevMaxPro data intelligence tool at the annual meeting of the California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG) June 6-9 in Los Angeles. RevMaxPro helps physicians and health plans better care for Medicare patients while optimizing their own revenue potential.

Since first introduced in 2006, RevenueMax has been a valuable tool in identifying patients with chronic conditions, pinpointing gaps in treatment, and monitoring the reporting of clinical data to CMS. At exhibit booth #200 at the CAPG meeting, physicians will be the first to see how RevMaxPro takes this existing technology to a new level with enhanced financial and clinical dashboards, HEDIS and STARS tracking, greater opportunities for customization, and access to industry benchmarking data that will allow the user to compare their performance to industry norms.

“The healthcare marketplace has been very welcoming to RevenueMax as it helps users create the kind of care-management programs that improve care and enhance an individual’s quality of life,” said Tom Peterson, president and CEO of Clear Vision. “RevMaxPro builds upon what we’ve learned and enriches the product with features, functionality and user friendliness that makes it an invaluable tool for providers and health plans serving the growing senior market.”

According to Peterson, RevMaxPro is integral to effective care management, finance and CMS compliance because it helps ensure that all of a patient’s chronic care needs are being identified and properly addressed based on real-time data that physicians readily have at their fingertips. In doing so RevMaxPro allows physicians to quickly and easily make the connection between services delivered and CMS revenue received. Also built into RevMaxPro is , which provides users with detailed “report cards” tied to HEDIS and STARS performance, two sets of quality metrics used to measure the quality of care and services provided.

The annual meeting of CAPG will be held June 6-9 at the JW Marriott in downtown Los Angeles. Keynote speakers will include President Bill Clinton; Susan Dentzer, senior policy advisor for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; Health Futures President and Norman Ornstein, resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.

The California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG) is the nation’s largest professional association representing physician groups practicing in the managed care model. Its more than 150 member groups employ and/or contract with physicians who in turn provide healthcare services to approximately 13 million Californians. More than 50 percent of California’s healthcare is delivered by physicians employed by/or contracted with CAPG members. CAPG supports its members through public advocacy, educational services and collaboration with other stakeholders in California healthcare.
