CCSi Gains Prime Contract Position on MHS TRICARE Evaluation, Analysis, and Management Support (TEAMS) IDIQ Vehicle

CCSi, a leading provider of program/project management services, healthcare services, cyber security and information assurance services, and enterprise systems engineering to the federal government, today announced that it has acquired a prime contract position on the TRICARE Evaluation, Analysis and Management Support (TEAMS) IDIQ. The company gained the prime contract position as part of a recent acquisition of a privately held company's Military Health Solutions division, which included healthcare contracts and the healthcare professionals supporting them. The contract position, which was approved by the US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity on September 6, 2012, further strengthens CCSi's burgeoning healthcare practice and ability to serve military health organizations.

"CCSi has a successful history of working with government healthcare organizations, including the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the TRICARE Management Activity (TMA)," said Dr. Naren Bewtra, president and chief operating officer, CCSi. "With this acquisition, we broaden our presence as a Prime Contractor for T4 supporting VA and CIOSP-3 supporting DHHS, to now include TEAMS supporting TMA."

This acquisition expands CCSi's support to include Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Electronic Standards Program Coordination and Analysis, adding to its current work on the Defense Centers of Excellence (DCoE) Program Management, Clinical and Program Policy, and Defense Health Board Support. The company's continuing investment in its Federal Health Care practice includes plans to hire a senior executive to lead this practice.

"CCSi is dedicated to serving the federal healthcare community. Our expanded Healthcare practice brings new and supplemental resources that directly support the healthcare missions of the DoD and VA," added Dr. Bewtra. "As the community continues to define and implement seamless systems of integrated solutions, CCSi offers experience in needed healthcare informatics and clinical care, as well as in information assurance & technology, business process reengineering, policy, program management and specific health care knowledge."

Under the terms of the contract, which is a ten-year (one-year base and nine option years) multiple-award IDIQ with a $5 billion contract ceiling, CCSi will compete for task orders to provide solutions and services that support all components of the Military Health System (MHS), including the TMA, VA and DHHS agencies worldwide. These services include program and/or project management support services, specialized studies and analysis, performance-based budgeting/financial management and analysis support, business process improvements, functional validation and verification, information management, acquisition management, and logistical support.
