CCHIT now an authorized certification body for ONC HIT Certification Program; HealthHIE Nevada goes live with eHealth Image Exchange;

> The Certification Commission for Health Information Technology will serve as an authorized certification body for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT in its efforts for the Permanent Certification Program for Health Information Technology. CCHIT, which previously was an authorized testing body for the Temporary Certification program, announced the change today. The Permanent Certification Program becomes effective on Oct. 4. > Cardiologists from the University of Oklahoma have developed a new mobile app that assists health professionals in determining the appropriateness of diagnostic angiography and revascularization, Medgadget reported.
