CCHIT now an authorized certification body for ONC HIT Certification Program; HealthHIE Nevada goes live with eHealth Image Exchange;

> The Certification Commission for Health Information Technology will serve as an authorized certification body for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT in its efforts for the Permanent Certification Program for Health Information Technology. CCHIT, which previously was an authorized testing body for the Temporary Certification program, announced the change today. The Permanent Certification Program becomes effective on Oct. 4.
