Boston Software Systems Demonstrates the Importance of Automating the Registration Process

Webinar Illustrates the Value of Automation for Operational Efficiencies, Meaningful Use, EMR Implementations

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Boston Software Systems®, the leader in workflow automation technology to the healthcare market, will be offering a webinar titled, “Automating Registration: The Foundation of Hospital Business - Focus on MEDITECH,” on July 28 at 2 p.m. ET. Register here.

Whether it's part of an EMR implementation, meaningful use, a patient access project, or to improve operational efficiency, there are many opportunities to automate the registration process using MEDITECH. Arguably, the patient experience begins at the registration desk.

Harnessing the power of automation at the point of registration, when the collection of patient information is so critical, enables hospitals to better manage and support end users, and fulfill strategic business requirements. Kim Bottcher, technical specialist at Boston Software Systems, will explore and explain ways to automate registrations using Boston WorkStation®. The webinar will be followed by an open Q&A and will cover:

  • Workflows to consider during implementation
  • Expectations during roll out
  • Benefits to patients and staff

From financial and administrative tasks to clinical and patient data, hospitals require a much deeper understanding of their patients and their practices, and must have immediate access to their information at every step of the healthcare lifecycle. Hospitals that work to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data captured at the point of registration can see dramatic results in time and cost savings, as well as improved patient care.
