In the wake of a breach at Anthem that compromised the information of about 80 million current and former customers, the insurance company will work with AllClear ID to provide identity theft repair and credit monitoring services.
Those services will be available to current and former members of insurance plans dating to 2004 for Anthem Inc. companies Amerigroup, Anthem and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield companies, Caremore, and Unicare, according to an announcement from Anthem.
There is no need for members to enroll in the service, according to Anthem. They need only call 877-263-7995 and they will receive the help of an investigator to recover financial losses and restore credit. Announcement
