Allscripts-Misys CTO resigns, stock dips

Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions stock fell $1.25, down to $21.24 today after Chief Technology Officer John Gomez, announced his resignation this morning. He will leave the Chicago-based company May 31. As a result, analysts downgraded its stock from 'buy' to 'hold,' citing the impact that Gomez' resignation could have on the company's ability to fully integrate newly acquired Eclipsys, as well as a recent KLAS survey that revealed "less than complementary rankings of Allscripts' Enterprise ambulatory product." Article
