David Bertani Joins as Senior Vice President and Brent Hendrickson Boards as Vice President

President and CEO Pearson Talbert has announced two additions to the company’s executive team. David Bertani was selected as Aegis’ first senior vice president of business development, and Brent Hendrickson was appointed vice president of business development.
“Aegis is excited to be growing its leadership team to better support hospitals as their interest in measurable programs that support population health, stronger physician relationships, and consumer engagement escalates,” said Talbert. “With the recent introduction of , Aegis’ exclusive population health portal, David and Brent are joining Aegis at a time when we’re able to help health systems respond to new demands set forth by the Affordable Care Act with both time-tested and technologically advanced tools.”
Bertani brings nearly 25 years of experience in business development and sales management to his new role at Aegis. Most recently he served as an award-winning senior district sales manager for Eli Lilly & Co., where he had worked since 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and public relations from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. As the senior vice president of business development, Bertani will leverage his experience in process improvement, strategy and implementation, and market expansion as he oversees all of Aegis’ sales and marketing efforts.

Hendrickson is a seasoned business development executive with a proven track record of contributing to the growth, profitability and visibility of organizations of all sizes. Immediately prior to joining Aegis, he was the director of provider relations for Arbor Healthcare in Franklin, Tenn., a national payment liaison between payers and hospitals. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Lipscomb University in Nashville. As the vice president of business development, Hendrickson is responsible for developing and leading strategic sales initiatives and market expansion in the northeastern U.S.
