Accenture Awarded Three-Year Contract by Italian Medicines Agency for Implementation and Maintenance of Medicines’ Evaluation Systems in Italy

Accenture has been awarded a new contract to develop, build and maintain an integrated Medicine Evaluation System by the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) – the national authority responsible for approving new medicines.

Over the next three years, Accenture will provide AIFA with management consulting and IT services supporting all AIFA processes for administration and medical technology.

This project, which will implement innovative technical solutions for AIFA and strengthen relationships with its stakeholders (patients, civil society, institutions and pharmaceutical companies), confirms AIFA’s commitment to innovation, positioning the Agency at the forefront of European medicine agencies.
