Floyd’s primary responsibilities will include monitoring market conditions, legislation and healthcare reform, as well as generating new business leads. She will identify and target key decision makers within anesthesiology practices, and continue to build an accurate database of anesthesia clientele.
“Kristy’s background and experience will play a significant role as we continue our expansion across the anesthesia specialty market,” said David J. Floyd spent the last three years working alongside high-level physicians, executives and board members in addition to managing meeting and events logistics, marketing and client services for the American Society of Anesthesiologists. The ASA is an educational, research and scientific association of physicians that maintains the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology while improving patient care.
Prior to her experience with ASA, Floyd had seven years of experience in the communications, marketing and event management industries.
Floyd has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Ball State University, and has been a member of the Professional Convention Management Association since 2008.
