X-ray films stolen from hospital

Two men wearing official looking uniforms and identification stole two 55-gallon barrels of old x-ray films from Summit Medical Center in Van Buren, Ark., on Aug. 12, KFSM reports. It's possible they took the x-rays to melt them down for silver, police speculated. Summit since has reviewed its radiology film disposal process and changed its procedures, according to a statement issued by the CEO. Article
