The traditional paging infrastructure is in decline, and mobile workers are increasingly relying on their smartphones for urgent information. Wallace Wireless business continuity solutions have been deployed in a wide range of markets to enhance delivery of pages, text messages, and alerts to smartphone devices. In healthcare, Wallace Wireless enables organizations to replace pagers with the reliable and secure delivery of alerts and emergency communication with confirmation of receipt directly to the user's smartphone.
According to The Joint Commission, communication breakdowns between healthcare providers are the root cause of 65 percent of sentinel events, two-thirds of which have resulted in death.
