Vantage Oncology, LLC, a leading national provider of radiation oncology services and integrated cancer care that is committed to providing superior treatment and compassionate care for those diagnosed with cancer, announced today that it has promoted Marshal Salomon to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. He previously served as Vantage's Chief Financial Officer, a role he has occupied since the company's inception in 2002.

"I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to continuing to work with our strong management team, physicians and teammates in our mission to build the pre-eminent cancer care company in the country," said Salomon.

Salomon, 48, has been instrumental in Vantage's successful growth from a pure start-up to a leading oncology care provider with 62 treatment facilities across 15 states, with more than 175 physician partners and affiliates and more than 900 employees. As COO, he will be responsible for overseeing Vantage's nationwide network as well as a number of operations-facing departments such as Physics, Reimbursement Operations, Strategic Support Services and Human Resources, among others.

"Since we first shook hands in 2002 over the idea of building a distinguished and differentiated cancer company, Marshal has demonstrated great leadership, a broad and versatile set of skills, and a real passion for excellence across our entire organization," said Michael Fiore, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Vantage Oncology. "We are thrilled that he has accepted this new challenge and are confident that he will be a driving force towards our achieving our Mission and Vision."

Founded in October 2002, Manhattan Beach, California-based Vantage Oncology, LLC is a leading national provider of radiation oncology services and integrated cancer care.
