Patent includes customization and exporting functionalities for evidence-based clinical decision support solutions

This patent broadens the scope of the company’s first patent (United States Patent 7,822,626) for a Structured Data Authoring and Editing System with functionality that facilitates and enhances a healthcare institution’s capacity to establish and maintain an evidence-based best-practice approach to providing patient care.
This second patent covers additional features within Zynx Health’s extensive suite of tools that facilitate the receipt, duplication, customization, review and export of clinical content to the point of care within a healthcare institution’s electronic system. Specifically, this patent includes:
- A system that receives and stores clinical order sets and plans of care from information providers
- An authoring environment that allows for reviewing, duplicating, and exporting the default clinical content structure of order sets and plans of care
- A mechanism that facilitates the customization of the clinical content structure of order sets and plans of care
- An engine that allows for the release of customized order sets and plans of care to the target healthcare system
