USPTO Issues Patent for Zynx Health’s Structured Data Authoring and Editing System

Patented Content Management Technology Includes Evidenced-Based Content Customization and Integration at the Point of Care

This patent covers Zynx Health’s system for customizing, reviewing and exporting clinical content to the point of care within a healthcare institution’s electronic system. Notably, the patent comprises:

  • An authoring environment that allows for reviewing and exporting the clinical content structure of order sets and plans of care
  • A vocabulary transformation engine for automatically converting the clinical content structure of order sets and plans of care into a standard terminology structure
  • A custom export engine for converting the standard structure into an export structure in a particular vendor system format
