USMD Adds Four Physicians to Support the Growing Healthcare Needs of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex

(), a physician-led integrated healthcare system, announced today that four new physicians—Sachin Gupta, M.D.; Libby Dilg, M.D.; Katrina Roop, D.O.; and Satish Pasala, M.D.—have joined USMD Affiliated Services. These new physicians have been added to support the growing healthcare needs of the communities and patients USMD serves.

Dr. Gupta, a cardiologist, has joined USMD at its Las Colinas Clinic. With the addition of Dr. Gupta, USMD now has three board-certified cardiologists on staff. Adding a third cardiologist to USMD’s growing physician base is necessary since heart disease continues to be the number one cause of death worldwide.

Dr. Dilg will join USMD’s growing team of internal medicine physicians, bringing the total number of internists at USMD to 58. Dr. Roop will join USMD as a family practice physician, bringing the total number of family practitioners to 28. Dr. Pasala joins USMD’s team of endocrinologists, bringing USMD’s total number of endocrinology physicians to six.

Dr. Sachin Gupta will practice at the Las Colinas Clinic. Dr. Gupta completed his fellowship in cardiology and an advanced fellowship in heart failure and cardiac transplantation at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his residency in internal medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and his medical degree at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.

Dr. Libby Dilg will practice at USMD’s Las Colinas Clinic. Dr. Dilg completed her residency in internal medicine at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and received her medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Katrina Roop will practice at USMD’s North Richland Hills Clinic. Dr. Roop completed her residency in family medicine at Florida Hospital East Orlando and received her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Satish Pasala will practice at USMD’s Arlington North Clinic. Dr. Pasala completed his fellowship in endocrinology and his residency in internal medicine at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. He received his medical degree from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in Gulbarga, India.
