The NICE Accreditation Advisory Committee found that Truven Health Analytics has a robust process for producing the content in its database used in clinical decision support products.
NICE Accreditation helps healthcare professionals identify the most trusted sources of guidance, developed using critically-evaluated, high-quality processes, which support the delivery of quality care.
The NICE Accreditation Advisory Committee evaluated the processes used by Truven Health Micromedex Solutions to develop and maintain the clinical information in its online database ( – ), which assists clinicians to make informed and safe decisions about patients’ medication and care management decisions at the point of care. The Committee found that the processes used by Truven Health to produce content in its database are of high quality, meeting 22 of the 23 applicable accreditation criteria.
