Truven Health Analytics Honors MGM Resorts International for Improving Healthcare

Mike Boswood, president and CEO of presented the 2013 Truven Health Advantage Award for Overall Performance to , a global leader in hospitality.

The award was presented on May 15, 2013, during the annual gathering of Truven Health Analytics customers, the Advantage Conference, in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Advantage Awards recognize hospitals, health plans, government agencies, and employers that use data analytics to improve the quality of care and business results.

MGM Resorts International was honored for helping to control ever-increasing medical and drug costs by reinforcing healthy lifestyle choices, proper benefit utilization, and patient care delivery. As a result, enrollment in the company’s Direct Care Plan doubled this year to nearly 5,000 employees, with an 88 percent satisfaction rating among those who have opted-in.
