Technology Leader Greg Ericson Joins Press Ganey As Corporate Senior Vice President And CIO

SOUTH BEND, Ind., May 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Press Ganey Associates, Inc. announced the addition of Greg Ericson as corporate senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO), overseeing the company's consolidated patient satisfaction and clinical IT platform and solutions.

Ericson has more than 25 years of health care-focused IT, operations and account management experience, most recently serving as CIO of Maxim Healthcare where he performed a key turnaround including the implementation of an industry leading care management system and an e-learning system for over 50,000 care givers. He also introduced business intelligence and led the formation of the enterprise data warehouse with key performance indicators regarding staffing and profitability trends, and facilitated the organization's movement into a new business line by introducing an e-commerce commerce ICD-10 solution.

Prior to Maxim, Ericson was executive vice president and CIO for The Broadlane Group where he initiated the enterprise technology strategy and oversaw the organization's operational and account management transformation. Key initiatives included delivering a suite of market-leading, guided actionable analytics, introducing the industry leading staffing VMS, and driving the next generation B2B exchange with inline quality and pricing workflow. Earlier in his career, Ericson held progressive management roles with Smith & Nephew, PLC, Home Shopping Network, the Lee Company and Ernst & Young.

Ericson holds a bachelor's degree from Northwest Missouri State University in information services, with a strong focus in business, computer science and mathematics. He is a frequent guest lecturer for universities and previously served on the HSN credit union board.
