SPOTLIGHT: French healthcare the best? Again?

There was controversy a few years back when the WHO named France's healthcare system the best in the world--the US came in 37th. Now there is some level of confirmation as a new survey from Belgium-based Health Consumer Powerhouse put France on top of its 2006 Euro Health Consumer Index. Slovenia and Estonia were judged to give the best value for money. However, there is apparently room for large improvements in every healthcare system. The U.S. was not included in this survey. Report
