If you don't know by now, FierceEMR's Neil Versel is absolutely giddy over Apple's latest toy, the iPad, despite not having tried one out yet. Still, despite his glee, he's well aware of some of the drawbacks to using the device. Specifically, he says, the iPad "lacks a camera and USB ports and seems fairly fragile for use in a hospital environment. We also don't know how well the iPad stands up to the kind of sanitization that clinical applications would require." Will it ultimately prove to be just another "flavor of the month?"
