SPOTLIGHT: Doctors to get Rx Data in pilot

Physicians in some areas of the country will have online access to a complete patient prescription history under a new initiative launched by the SureScripts network. The data will include information about dosages and important information on whether prescriptions are being filled and refilled. SureScripts is a joint venture of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores and the National Community Pharmacists Association. The service will be available in New Jersey, Florida, Tennessee and Massachusetts starting April 1st. Organizers hope to expand the pilot to ten states by the end of the year. Article
