Shinseki resigns amid VA scandal

President Barack Obama made the announcement after a one-on-one meeting with Shinseki, who earlier today apologized to veterans for the depth of the VA system problems. He appointed VA Deputy Secretary Sloan D. Gibson as acting secretary.
