Ryan Search & Consulting Expands Healthcare Division

, a Franklin, TN talent acquisition and talent development firm, has expanded its healthcare division, the company announced today. The move comes as a greater number of healthcare companies are searching for both experienced healthcare managerial talent and advanced practice professionals to help organizations both survive and thrive under healthcare reform.

, a consultant with Ryan Search since 2012, has been named Market Leader of the firm's healthcare practice.

"In the last few years, we've placed more and more professionals in senior-level positions in hospitals and healthcare organizations," said , founder and CEO of Ryan Search & Consulting. "Given Marianne's healthcare background and the trends in the market, it made sense to devote greater resources to this arena. A 25-year veteran of the human resources and healthcare fields, Blackwell's focus will be to partner with companies to better identify their leadership needs and the right candidates that can fill them. She has served her entire career in recruitment and leadership positions with Vanderbilt University, Rehability Health Services and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She also owns and manages a Hereford beef cattle operation on a multi-generational family farm in Rutherford County.

Blackwell is a graduate of Rhodes College, Memphis, has a Masters of Education in Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University and has completed additional coursework towards an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt.
