Colorado-based Telerad Provider Earns Top Marks for access to reading physician, ED Communication, QA/Discrepancy process, and volume flexibility from Its Clients
LITTLETON, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rays, a privately held teleradiology company based in Littleton, CO that serves and collaborates with hospitals, radiology practices, stand-alone emergency rooms, and imaging facilities and centers across the United States, recently received an overall score of 92.2 out of 100 in an independent study about major teleradiology providers entitled “Teleradiology Services 2011: Times are Changing,” which was “the highest performance score in this study.” Rays also received the highest score on the survey last year.
In September 2011, KLAS, an independent healthcare research and consulting firm, released the results of its evaluation of ten major teleradiology companies. Based on client input, Rays received a total score of 92.2, its second year in a row to earn the highest score in the study. Because Rays was categorized as serving the Southeast, it was included in the report, but was not ranked. Rays serves areas outside the Southeast, however, and is accepting clients from any of the 50 states.
