New Product Joins Quantros Safety and Risk Management Family
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Quantros, a leading provider of clinically-focused data management and decision support solutions for the healthcare industry, has introduced its new Indicator Scorecard™ product. Part of the Quantros SRM™ (Safety and Risk Management) solution suite, Indicator Scorecard provides rate-based reporting on various adverse medical events for healthcare organizations interested in monitoring and improving their quality of care.
The Indicator Scorecard enables organizations to capture and report rate-based metrics. The application calculates various measures at the facility and corporate levels, using numerators from patient safety events captured in Safety Event Manager™ and denominators from Denominator Manager™ - both products within Quantros SRM.
Hospitals have long struggled to identify standard rates for adverse events such as falls, medication errors, and pressure ulcers. In addition to automating a labor-intensive, manual process, the Indicator Scorecard can also facilitate the demonstration of American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet status eligibility.
