Quantros Executive Director Re-Elected Co-Chair of HL7 Patient Safety Work Group

Dr. Ali Rashidee Will Serve a Two-Year Term for Non-Profit Healthcare Information Standards Development Organization

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Dr. Ali Rashidee MD, MS, Executive Director for Safety and Risk Management at Quantros, has been re-elected to a two-year term as Co-Chair of the Patient Safety Work Group (PSWG) for Health Level Seven International (HL7), the international standard development organization for interoperability of health information technology.

The PSWG supports the HL7 mission to create and promote HL7 standards by developing standard specifications (messages, CDAs, implementation guides, patient safety concepts and terminologies) and decision support structures for patient safety to facilitate reporting, triggering, investigating, and analyzing information relevant to patient safety.
