In this leadership position, Cassidy will direct the expansion of QuadraMed's HIM services business and lead QuadraMed's team of HIM Consultants.

Bonnie Cassidy has more than 20 years of executive experience in healthcare management and consulting with expertise in HIM process improvement and e-HIM® transformation, as well as revenue cycle management, coding and clinical documentation improvement. A recognized thought leader in healthcare IT, Cassidy is the President-Elect of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and will serve on its board for a three-year term. As AHIMA's 2011 President, Cassidy will chair the board of directors, which governs the association, sets strategy, budget and maintains fiduciary oversight. Cassidy is a Fellow of the AHIMA and of HIMSS and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).

Over the course of Cassidy's career in Health Information Management, she has been honored with the Outstanding Leadership Award, Legacy Award, Volunteer Excellence Award and Professional Achievement Award from AHIMA. In addition to her volunteer leadership with AHIMA, Cassidy is also a member of HIMSS Privacy & Security Steering Committee.
