Prospect Medical Holdings Acquires Community General Hospital

(“Prospect” or the “Company”), today announced the acquisition of Community General Hospital, an 18 bed acute care hospital located in Dilley, Texas (“CGH”). The acquisition of CGH represents an expansion of Prospect’s operations in Texas. CGH will be operated by Nix Health of San Antonio, Texas, which was acquired by Prospect in 2012.

The acquisition of Community General Hospital provides a great opportunity to meet the increased demand for services in this rapidly growing community.
