West Virginia United Health System Expands Statewide Network Through Affiliation with Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital And Acquisition of Saint Joseph’s Hospital
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Proskauer's nationally recognized Health Care Department has played a key role in helping to expand the West Virginia United Health System (WVUHS), already the largest health care system in West Virginia. On March 1, 2011, WVUHS purchased Saint Joseph's Hospital from Signature Hospital Corporation and added Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital as an affiliate into the WVUHS system. For decades prior to the transactions, Camden-Clark and Saint Joseph’s had been competitors in Parkersburg, West Virginia and throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley.
