Premier and SupplierGATEWAY will work to improve diversity management activities for hospitals and health systems using an online portal to quickly and efficiently access local, small and diverse businesses, as well as diversity information resources. This partnership will ultimately benefit Premier’s entire provider network with access to a diverse selection of vendors by integrating supplier data.
Premier is the nation’s largest alliance of more than 2,800 U.S. hospitals and 93,000 other care sites collaborating to improve performance. SupplierGATEWAY, an NMSDC certified MBE and leader in online supplier data management services and solutions, manages numerous company portals designed to create opportunities for engaging and managing suppliers throughout the country and globally.
Specifically, the partnership will enable diversity certification data verification, Tier 2 reporting, and data scrubbing of health system supplier data within Premier’s supplier diversity management toolkit. The toolkit is a foundation for Premier member health systems to actively engage with small, local and diverse suppliers more efficiently through diversity management, community benefit reporting, and local/off-contract diversity spend analysis activities.
