Physician-operated hospital faces sanction

Oregon's only physician-owned hospital is on the verge of being kicked out of Medicare because of a series of  problems over the last few years. CMS launched an investigation of the hospital last year. In one widely-reported incident, staff were forced to call 911 when a patient's heart stopped because no doctors were on site. CEO Bill Houston says a corrective plan was filed on Monday and that he is "confident" the hospital will be allowed to stay open.
