SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A crowd of forty AIDS advocates protested in front of the San Francisco home of Speaker Nancy Pelosi today. The group is asking for Pelosi to end her silence and solve the current national AIDS drug crisis. More than 2,300 people are now on waiting lists to receive lifesaving AIDS drugs through state AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs). The group staged a mock "funeral" in front of Pelosi's house to represent the 13 people who have died while on ADAP waiting lists since 2003.
