According to a recent blog entry by a primary care physician, his profession doesn't have a great reputation these days. In response, the doctor says he is "rebranding" to make his job title reflect the respect he should be getting. He will now call himself a "pre-hospitalist," he says, dedicated to making sure that as many sick people as possible stay out of the hospital by being diverted to him. (Of course, healthy people are welcome, too.) Blog
