(NASDAQ:OMCL), a leading provider of medication and supply management solutions and analytics software for healthcare facilities, today announced the renewal of its contract with the top-ranked non-profit, integrated health system Partners HealthCare. Following more than a decade of success using Omnicell solutions throughout its hospitals, Partners HealthCare chose to extend its relationship with Omnicell with an exclusive agreement for pharmacy automation.
Partners HealthCare was founded by two of the nation's leading academic medical centers, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. Those hospitals consistently rank among the top ten hospitals nationwide in the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals. Partners HealthCare's decision to continue its relationship with Omnicell is the most recent example of the health system's ongoing efforts to provide the most innovative clinician-centered technology.
