The Healthcare Facility Developer Sharpens Expertise with Healthcare Industry Veterans

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The NoliWhite Group, Brentwood-based healthcare facility developers, today announced the addition of two new hires to meet growing demand for hospital and other healthcare-related construction sites across the U.S. The new associates bring over 40 years of combined healthcare experience to the firm, which plans to expand service offerings in 2011 to include medical equipment planning.

Joey Abney

A seasoned healthcare executive with over 27 years of experience, Abney comes to The NoliWhite Group from IASIS Healthcare where he served as Vice-President of Design & Construction. In that role, Abney was responsible for all capital improvements for IASIS properties. With projects located throughout 15 states, Abney gained extensive experience working with A&E and Contracting firms, as well as local and state agencies to ensure timely and on-budget completion of projects. Prior to joining IASIS, Abney served as a Construction Executive at HCA, where he managed over 70 hospital and MOB projects.

Phyllis Johnson, RN, BSN

With over 17 years of medical equipment planning experience, Johnson comes to The NoliWhite Group from Partners Healthcare Group where she was a Principal and Member Owner. In that role, she directed operations and oversaw medical equipment planning, coordinating the successful development of over 600 projects. Prior to Partners Healthcare Group, she worked as a medical equipment planner for Gene Burton and Associates. Johnson started her career in healthcare as a registered nurse.
