No one-size-fits-all fix to patient experience

When deciding strategies for patient experience improvement, most hospitals look to the common Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, yet no two hospitals follow the same plan, Jason Wolf, executive director of The Beryl Institute, a patient experience community, wrote in a Hospital Impact blog post. "I encourage you not to be fooled by a one-size-fits-all solution," he wrote. However, there are some common themes to be gleaned from current literature on the patient experience.
