my1HIE® Receives Health Information Technology Leadership Innovation Award from State of Michigan

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich., June 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The State of Michigan Health Information Technology (HIT) Commission announced that my1HIE® (My One Health Information Exchange) is a recipient of a 2010 Health Information Technology Leadership Innovation Award at the 3rd Annual Wiring Michigan Conference held at Soaring Eagle Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Designed by physicians for physicians, my1HIE® connects physicians to an ever-expanding network of healthcare providers and enables them to share critical patient information, collaborate on patient care, and access key clinical applications at the point-of-care.  Currently, my1HIE® is comprised of a wide-ranging community of users that include virtually all facets of the healthcare industry – 7 physician organizations representing over 6,000 physicians, 4 healthcare systems representing 15 hospitals, 5 laboratories, 6 radiology centers, and a health plan.
