With this Surescripts certification, MTBC now offers a direct connection to the Surescripts network for prescription routing, refills, eligibility, formulary, and external drug history. Accordingly, physicians that use MTBC EMR 4.0 to e-prescribe can not only reduce costs and improve practice efficiency, but also qualify for a 2% bonus on Medicare collections under the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (MIPPA).
